Treaty No. 6 Recognition Day 2022 Event
In the spirit of reconciliation, join us to celebrate Treaty Six Day and the unveiling of the new monument to commemorate the signing of Treaty No. 6.

Community event (Showcase) starts at 12:00 p.m. (noon) MST
Location: Alberta Legislature, adjacent to the Royal Lawn Bowling Club - South Grounds, amiskwaciy waskahikan (Edmonton), Alberta
Cost: Free Admission
The event will include a Showcase of dancers along with singers and drummers. There will also be food served by local Indigenous vendors available for purchase on-site.

The Confederacy of Treaty Six First Nations is dedicated to ensuring the terms, spirit, and intent of Treaty No. Six are honoured and respected. This monument supports this mission and accentuates the commitments made by the Government of Canada to the First Nations who signed the Treaty in 1876.
