People see our city as a great place to live, work, and invest in. With a new municipal development plan, Edmonton is poised to grow to a city of 2 million people — and a big part of this is increasing housing choices to welcome new people at every stage of life and income level into our older neighbourhoods.

Get Current Data on Infill Development

The Infill Data Explorer is an interactive online mapping tool that provides information on residential infill development, including community trends. It also has an interactive mapping tool to allow users to explore potential sites for infill construction. Find information like housing types, zoning description, total tax assessment, parcel lot area and nearby services and amenities.

The map can be searched based on selected criteria and findings can be downloaded and saved. The data used is updated manually or automatically. Explore the  full data list . Suggestions to inform future improvements are being collected through our feedback form.

The Infill Data Explorer is another tool the City of Edmonton has developed to support industry and homeowners in building a more vibrant and sustainable Edmonton.
