The Reuse Areas were created for large items that were in good shape and could be reused. The type of material that we accepted at these locations overlapped with the type of material that traditional donation centres (that is, Goodwill, Value Village) accept.
Residents wanting to re-circulate reusable items that would normally be seen in a Reuse Area can check out our Reuse Directory to find an alternative disposal method.
Eco Stations have Recycle Depots on site where you can take recyclable items such as paper, boxes, cardboard, plastic bags, containers, cans and bottles. Avoid line-ups at the Eco Stations if you have only these kinds of recycling to drop off by visiting one of our many Recycling Depots across the city.
